Do you remember climbing into the family car
on Sunday afternoon to go for a family ride
in the country?
Dad would drive, while Mom played car games
with the children, such as who could spot the
the first horse grazing in the pasture.
You'd drive along, singing songs, and once in
awhile stop along the way for a visit with
family friends. You'd play kick ball, cops and
robbers, and cowboys and indians; while Mom
and Dad visited over homemade cake and pie
with their friends.
"Yes, please" and "No. Thank you." were common phrases.
Once the visit was over, you'd all pile back into
the car all "played out" to head for home.
If you were well behaved, Daddy would surprise
you by stopping by the local Dairy Queen for
ice cream! Ahhhh....when life was so innocent
and fun! It was a time when families had the
time to share their lives!
This is Country Tales version of a Sunday drive!

We will look at ourseves in gilded mirrors,
knowing the beauty from our younger years.

to make this a happy place for me and you!

The thyme for our Country Tales team is Halloween though I'm not very good at this sort of things,it's new to our side of the world and I am doing my best trying to do these cheers along with the rest.

Halloween night can be scary if you are come over and see me,I'm in Country Tales were a friendly team we will have some mould wine and give out some good cheer.
