The fourth of July is almost here
Fireworks will a be blazing
It will hurt my little ears

But oh the colors in the sky
As we say Ahhhhhh & Ohhhhhh
They will be so pretty, betcha big
And oh so noisy too!

Fun is coming , YES it is
Those fireworks will be grand
And you can bet that DZoo
Will be floating throughout the land!

Yummy Hamburgers and hotdogs
We will cook up on the grill
Go swimming if it's nice out
It will be such a thrill

DZoo is ready
To party hardy down
Fourth of July is special
When DZoo come to town

We will park our animals in the park
Play volley ball, and tan
Blow those firecrackers up
And shake our little can

Going to the zoo can be so much fun
Upon the park for sure
When summer holidays come up
Yes, DZoo have the cure

Drink Ice tea like its a rarity
Pull out all the stops
But we wear earplugs, yes we do
When those firecrackers pop

C'mon get with it, its time for fun
Fourth of July is almost here
We'll watch all the pretty colors
As the 4th draws near

The forest is a hoppin
The drums are gettin loud
The elves have wandered in their huts
No fairies can be found

All are hiding from the fun
As loud noises make them scatter
When the Fourth of July comes along
They all go pitter patter

So it's batten down the hatches
For all forest creatures here
But DZoo come to save the day
Thats why our team is near

So c'mon all you creatures
All you elves, and fairies, too
You can hide upon our ship
We will take care of you

The animals are really rockin'
This July fourth hey hey!!!
As little zoo cohorts
Light dynamite today

We threw it in the park
To see what it would do
I can tell ya we won't need any food
For at least a month, or two!

It blew a hole under the lion's cage
Oh - DZooKeeper will be mad
So we must fix it quickly
Or she'll find out we were bad!

We will all be in trouble
But we like to celebrate
When July fourth is so near
DZoo can not wait!
