Now, I bet you have all heard of D'Man?
Bet you never heard about his pet, D'Duck though!
No? Well it's time you did!
As the D'Pets arrive at their Grand Opening Day,
we just have to finally speak out about this little guy!
When D'Man goes to bed at night, D'Duck takes over for him!
He keeps the Sitefights running as smoothly as he swims!
We thought the best way to tell you about D'Duck was to go back
through the years by way of a pictorial.
We will start off at the point where D'Man first met D'Duck and
decided he needed to be with him and leave this all behind for his
new-found friend.....so if you're ready, let's go:
How It All Began
Poor D'Duck was just a little D'Duckling when D'Man rescued him from a shooting gallery on Coney Island.
Ah......the fun they had when they first met! Playing D'Duck D'Duck Goose, watching "D'Duck Soup" together, and doing what they loved most of all, reading their favorite stories, like the "The Ugly D'Duckling" and "Make Way For D'Ducklings" at night! Oh they had a grand time!
D'Man man tried to protect D'Duck and keep to his identity low-key, but despite all their efforts to keep from being recognized, they were. Finally, they felt they had no other choice. They had to go into hiding, so off they went, wiping tears of sadness from their eyes.
They joined the circus for a while to try and get away from all the recognition and fame.
It was too hard though, it reminded D'Duck of his Coney Island days. It was just too painful. So they had to move on. |

They say when people and their pets live together for a long time
they often start to look alike!

They danced the night away.........closed down Bourbon Street!
They had to earn some money somehow though,
so they took a job as scuba divers off the Florida Coast.
This was not a good gig for them though,
D'Duck was now afraid of the water
after having been pampered by D'Man for so long.
So they earned a little pocket money then forged on!
D'Man didn't want to neglect D'Duck's cultural advancement
while they were traveling, so they attended some theater.
Here the two of them are are leaving a performance of "D'Lion King"
in some unknown location!
They were getting bored though.
They did nothing for a while.
They spent their days sitting in the park, feeding the birds.
Soon they tired of it all though......the running, the hiding,
Then they felt it, that old familiar pull
that each had secretly yearned for.
They were both weary, dog-tired,
but they knew there was something they had to do.
They packed up and off they were,
heading back to the home they knew so well!
D'Man was lookin' good from the trip when he returned,
he looked refreshed and revitalized!
He's still tries to lead a very private life though, hence D'Bag.
The little little guy is better than ever too!
He always tries to be just like his D'Daddy,
like any youngster!
So without any further adieu,
here he is folks,
D'Man's pride and joy,
D'Duck!
These days, they are both happy!
While D'Man toils away at the Sitefights,
D'Duck spends his days building his favorites out of D'Legos!
They still can't go out in public very much,
the crowds, the lack of privacy.
Poor things.
There is a need for disguise more than ever now!
They don't mind at all though, because in their hearts they know.
They have seen the world outside of the Sitefights
and they know just where they belong!
Right here!
There is no place like home!
