What is Blind Voting?

Blind voting is when a fighter asks to exchange votes with someone without taking the time to look at their site first. Blind Voting is wrong and unfair to those who you agree to support. Its also against Site Fights rules, and you could get disqualified for it! You spend alot of time "fine-tuning" your site to perfection. Why? So that others can see it! One of the reasons for the vote exchange is to let people know about your site! With all this time and effort, don't you think that its only fair that people come and check out your site before they vote for you? Now turn this around...that's why you shouldn't blind vote! There may be sites out there with subjects and materials that you don't agree with. But if you don't check out the site before you agree to vote, you won't know! These are just a couple of reasons why you shouldn't blind vote. Everyone has their own reasons...what's yours?

What can I do to stop Blind Voting?

All the world's problems can't be solved in a day, and neither can blind voting. However, Blind Voting can be reduced if you do your part! Start with the vote exchange. Stop by the sites you agree to vote with....and don't immediately search for an email address...that doesn't count. Browse through the site, stop and sign the guestbook, and then look for the email address! You would be amazed at how much you can learn about who you are supporting just by going through their site!
