This is a story of an Evergreen Tree named Tiny. Tiny lived in a huge Evergreen Forest with lots of other big Evergreen trees. But the problem was, Tiny was..well..tiny. The other Trees often made fun of Tiny because of his size. When Christmas time rolled around the teasing and laughing got even worse. All the big trees got cut down and taken away to be Christmas Trees. But everybody knew that small trees never got taken away. This made Tiny sad. One day, Tiny was thinking about how he could get bigger. He thought and thought and thought and finally something came to him. He would write Santa and ask him to make him bigger for Christmas. So, he did..he wrote Santa a big long letter about how much he wanted to be a big tall Evergreen and get taken home by a family to be their Christmas Tree. Tiny mailed the letter and waited for a reply, or a sign of growth. But, no luck. Christmas Eve finally came and Tiny was almost the last tree in the forest..he was so sad, he started to cry. He cried and cried and cried until a little boy heard him weeping. The little boy came over to Tiny and asked him what he was upset about. Tiny told the little boy his story.. The little boy ran over to his mom and dad, and Tiny could see the little boy asking his parents something...Pretty soon the whole family came over, chopped Tiny down and carried him off. They put him up in the little boy's room and decorated him with all kinds of pretty decorations...bows and popcorn strings and balls and all kinds of things. Tiny was the happiest Evergreen tree to ever live. The End.
