MOST of competing and communications are done through email...lots of email

So, remember that you can not see the person that you are communicating with.  Always assume that what others are saying to you is meant in the most kindest way.  Since you can't see their face or tone of voice... assume the nicest.  Sometimes the written word is harsher than what is meant.

There is a REAL person behind every email... ALWAYS be KIND.

REMEMBER when sending mail to more than one person at a time to use the BCC function in your email program . Some people do not want their email address sent around to strangers, without using this function, all email addresses are shown in the email.

If you don't know how to use this function, check the help section of your email program.

NEVER use REPLY TO ALL in your mail program !!!

Do not send out vote reminders to anyone until they have agreed that they would like that.  Also people come and go in the net.. so if someone asks you to remove them from your list... do it as soon as possible.

MOST IMPORTANTLY ..... HAVE FUN !!!

If you are NOT enjoying your experience here then you are doing too much.

There are LOTS of fun things here at TSF that you can do for fun.  Just be careful about signing up to do things that you may not have time for. Some things are obligations that have others depending on you. Usually everything you do on-line takes twice as much time as you think it will   =;O

Put up a spirit page at your site. A spirit page is a place you can put your cheers and all the awards that you will be getting.

Get you a Free Spirit Book for your site.. nice to put on your spirit page and it is SO EASY .   You just cut & paste a script on your page and you are done ! (TIP - when you set it up... choose the option to accept html script)

Spirits, Fairies, Wee Ones, Quills and other fighters will be coming to your site to leave little gifts and cheer you on. A Spirit Book at your Spirit Page makes it easy for them to find your guestbook.

Those competing are known as fighters.   Notice the graphic here.  As we watch the scores we are saying so & so is beating so & so  but it ALL BE IN FUN.  So when the week is over .  . .   we all hug and start anew. 

We feel that D'Pets team is unique.
Because we share our love of our pets.

We want to promote friendship within the team and the exchanging of  info about our pets, I hope that you will get to know your team mates. It will be fun to share pet tips with each other. Your team mates are not your enemies... you will be competing with them , BUT if you win or they do...it is all in fun. That is what it is all about meeting people and having FUN !!

You will find that meeting and interacting with your fellow DPets' fighters is what is going to advance you.. to one day compete in DMan's DOME!

We would like you to go to your team mates sites and look around. Sign their guestbooks and send an email to them and see if they would like to Vote Exchange with you. You may send an email asking them...if they do not respond within a week then don't keep emailing them... that is considered SPAM.

I want to STRONGLY promote TEAM support - meaning that once one of OUR team mates wins the DPet Show and moves up to the Warzone and later on to the DMan's DOME that the WHOLE team VOTES everyday for OUR champ.  So that WHEN it becomes YOUR turn - the WHOLE team will be supporting YOU!  This makes for a strong team and makes YOU a stronger fighter.

There are no losers here on DPets team.  
If you are having fun,  and meeting new friends then you have already WON !

If you just aren't very good at making up cheers, we have our own library here that you are MORE than welcome to borrow for the shout it out.

While in training,   you will need to READ the rules and get your Site Fight links up. When you have done this,  send me an email stating that you have read the rules and your links are up.  You need to do this by Friday evening if you wish to compete the following week.
