My week off has flown by and things have been hopping here at the fights.
I spent an educational week at Bobby "Bengal Tiger" Woody's
"Miniature Golf Driving Academy for Duffers",
but more about that later.
Dman's brain, as most of you know, is always working hard.
(Unfortunately mine retired or went out on strike for being overworked,
complaining that thinking hurt and it wuz tough trying to operate in a vaccuum.)
When a little boidy told him of my good fortune in having
recently come into possesion of one of the 'Golden Tickets'
entitling the bearer to a complimentary round of Miniature Golf
at the famous Dhome Dome Building's Miniatutre Golf Course
[Please see 5/3/98 "...I CAN'T LOOK A GIFT E-MAIL IN THE MOUTH..."]
Dman sent me a Pneumatic memo which read as follows,
Hey SuspendA....
I have one of those brain thingy's going on...
anyway......a thought...
How about DNick and I versus...
you and Duncle in that round of golf you just won?
Signed Dman.
So, the gauntlet wuz tossed out...the challenge wuz in...
and I wuz never one to refuse a challenge or challenger.
Not only wuz it a great idea to alternate weekly columns with DUncle
but now we would team up and battle The Site Fight's Top Guns.
This has got to be bigger than the four millionth return of Godzilla.
The Seinfeld Finale, or the sinking of the Titanic ,...
Besides, who knows everything about Dman better than DUncle.
(His column is loaded with juicy tidbits and deep insights into the real Dman.)
DUncle and DNick thought it wuz a great idea and we all accepted.
WOW!!!I'm so excited now I'll be DUncle's Monkey!

That night when I arrived home and told Dfamily the news,
SpencA, always the entrepreneur, immediately saw the commercial potenetial
and right after dinner canvassed the neighborhood businesses
for potential sponsors.
He's already signed up an impressive group for me to endorse
on my shirt hat trousers and SuspendA.
Just a short list to impress you with a few of the big hitters he landed:
"NICE KEYS" - Barry's locks and keys for any need.
"MIKE CROWSOFF'S WINDOWS" -Screens, window panes, Picture glass and mirrors.
"MAC'S FOR DUMMIES" - Complete assortment of mannequins and store figures.
The kid's a genius. A chip off the old Blockhead.
To make sure I won't embarrass myself while in the company of
such super Miniature Golfers I enrolled in the Golf Academy.
I'll report on that experience when I return in 2 weeks.
