It wuz early to bed for the SuspendA clan when we arrived home
after attending the Site Fights Gala first birthday celebration,
party pooped out and full from gorging ourselves on
GlendA's famous, delicious half baked creme puff cake.

[Please see 8/3/97 "...A PARTY ANIMAL FAMILY!"]

When we first arrived at the party the place wuz hopping.
The kids had a great time collecting autographs from
the host of great retired ex-champions and family members
who entered the ring when their names were announced.

As the ring filled up with the growing family it wuz like a zoo -
SpencA and MalendA petted Wombats and Kangaroos -
fed the horses that belonged to Lady Char's Knights -
racked their brains trying to solve the riddle of the Sphynx
while watching Cobras perform a dance in the pits -
tried on DContendA's Kid Gloves, which were a perfect fit -
played the thumbs up, thumbs down game with Grapholina's Gladiators
and roared hysterically with the lions while having a quick bite to eat -
Chatted with PapaBear about Goldilocks in the chatroom
and knocked themselves out playing in Pink Bear's playground.

They met some of the newest members of the expanding family also.
Stuffed themselves with marshmallows roasted by Darsbanes Dragons,
Flew up high on the wings of DCap's Site Fights Eagle
for an exciting birds eye view of the party happenings
and while up there took a fun carousel ride aboard some of
Sky's Avenging Angels, grabbing Gold Halo's as they went around.

When they came back to earth they accomplished something
that DSuspendA hasn't been able to do yet here at the Fights -
they were invited to play a round of Miniature Golf with Dman
upstairs on the private course he had built in his office.

[Please see 5/4/97 "...AN EXBOXER UNBOXES D'BOX!"]
After finishing their round, as the piece d'resistence,
Dman gave them each one of his autographed golf balls.

(I never knew his real name wuz 'Spalding Sureflight II' )

Each member of DFamily wuz invited to relate an anecdote
about their introduction to the Fights and the comraderie they feel
by being part of the rapidly growing family.

When my turn came, I nimbly jumped over the ropes
into the center of the ring where the dais, cake and punch were and.....

SPLATTT!!!!
my SuspendA caught the ladle of the punch and as it snapped back....
the punch came flying at me. I tried to duck - but being out of condition
it landed squarely on my famous Stueben glass chin.
The glass to glass contact made a loud ping and knocked me cold.

Embarrassed yet again, soaking wet, groggy and a little punch drunk,
I shakily arose to thunderous applause. Everyone agreed I wuz
the 'Biggest Hit' of the party - and I didn't even have to speak.

(GlendA, SpencA and MalendA's color matched the color of my SuspendA's).

Early next morning we grabbed a quick breakfast and
set off on another day's trip in the SuspendAmobile.

As I explained to you earlier in my ramblings,
Leonardo DVinny, the SuspendAmobile's genius designer
wuz an ex prize fight manager and amateur inventor.
This background resulted in some interesting design quirks.

[Please see 7/27/97 "CRANK UP THE SUSPENDAMOBILE...."]

The car carries you on your trip, bobbing and weaving
and shuffling from site to site for about 3 minutes.
The horn sounds and the car comes to a gentle stop
at the nearest fast food site for a 2 minute refresher
The 2 minutes flies by while waiting to be served.
Just when you're ready to give the server your order
the horn sounds again and you continue on your journey
without ever having time for any refreshment.

(Some early SuspendAmobile Beta Testers were said to have
collapsed from dehydration and malnutrition while on their journeys).

THE ITINERARY -DAY 2

MYHRMAIDS UNDERWATER WORLD
http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Vault/9264

The kids had a little trouble 'cranking' themselves up to get us started
because they were very excited thinking about our first stop.
They had been looking high and low for a good place to begin
our 2nd days trip and found it a rare Astronomy/Underwater science book.
This Underwater site is one of the bright stars in Andomeda's Nebulus Ring.

I had this strange, sinking feeling as the car filled with water,
but then remembered that Leonardo also invented the submarine.
We attached our Scuba air hoses to the front fan belt and
I breathed a bubbly sigh of relief, feeling safe again.
An Island band joined us and began playing a lilting melody.
If we weren't packed in the car like sardines, we all would have danced.
Fish and divers swam by in all directions and waved greetings.
We spotted Myhrmaid, herself, lying on a rock.
We stopped and she proceeded to tell us about herself.

(It wuz the first time any of us heard 'bubble talk' spoken).

She's a Chemist from Stockton, California who has a 'seedy' job.
She loves mystery novels, written by female authors and
she and GlendA had nice long, 'bubble talk' chat about a few of them.
We went deeper down to see some great pictures of some
of the mhyriad of Myhrmaid's Mermaids. It wuz worth the look.

Put on your scuba gear and dive in for a terrific underwater surf.

TARON BIRMANS - THE SACRED CAT OF BURMA
http://home.earthlink.net/~tbirmans/

While the kids were playing the 'thumbs up - thumbs down' game
at Grapholina's Gladiators someone mentioned that we should see
these cool cats from the arenas who survived all the way to the Warzone
so we made a point of putting them on today's itinerery.
The SuspendAmobile soared down the Road to Mandalay and we arrived
where we learned that these Cats from Burma weren't cool cats
in the way cool sense but cool cats from Burma.

(I'm not sure what the heck I'm saying but I know what I mean -
If you know what I mean! These are REAL COOL CATS!
These cats have breeding not just your typical alley cat variety).

One of the first Cats we were introduced to wuz
'Grand Champion Cincicatti Shogun of Taron' -
He looked regal, just what I imagined a Shogun should look like.

(I thought they wore their Sumarai swords for all official pictures, though).

The page is litter-ally filled with great pictures of these grand cats.
There is an informative explanation of the breeds lineage
and through The Birman's of Pittsboro, North Carolina
these Purrfect kittens are multiplying all over the world.
There are links to other Birman Cat pages for you to surf.
(I tried looking up our neighbor, Ken Birman and his family
and 'The Birman from Alcatraz but they didn't seem to be listed).

Go over and pet a Birman...just be careful to protect your mouse
the cats tried to eat ours everytime it came near one of their pictures.

DTE COMPUTER SYSTEMS

This site is one of DContendAs at Kid Gloves place.
It has general interest pages and free website promotion resources
combined with a couple of commercial pages and it'slocated in Texas.

There's a UFO Page with information about alien sightings -

(They mistook us for space invaders dressed in our driving clothes).
[Please see Picture 8/3/97 "...A PARTY ANIMAL FAMILY!"]
An Awards Connection - TEMP-tation and lots more.
We went on "Mans Quest for Life Beyond Earth" where
we arrived at the "Mars Pathfinder Links".
When we get back home I have to let DMaestro know that
in his Quest for Dman he should check out these Links.
We found a few of Dman's autographed golf balls on one of DLinks.

There's also a link to a place tailor made for yours truly.
It's labeled 'Natural Disaster', which as you all know is....

If you want to be the first on your block to have your picture
taken with a real Martian go pay them a visit.
