To a great extent, the first day out in the SuspendAmobile
wuz a wholesome, family experience with things to see for everyone.

The trial run wuz successful in pointing out some kinks
that need some fixing before we set out again.
The most embarrassing incident took place as soon as we began.
After the kids successfully 'cranked' up and the car wuz
humming an off key version of 'The Happy Wanderer',
(I understand that Leonardo DVinny had a tin ear
and wuz never able to carry a tune, so the car is tone deaf)
we were set to begin. I punched in the 1st URL on the list
and we picked up speed as we proceeded on our way.
The modem buzzed, beeped, suawked and squeeked -
words like "connecting, looking for, 67% at 1.42k..."
began flashing on the top and bottom of the screen.
Finally the words "Document Done" showed and an image
began forming, blurry and broken up at first, then sharper and sharper
until the whole screen snapped into focus and our heads
snapped back and forth, like whiplash as we came to a dead stop.
We stared at the screen in disbelief! We were looking at ourselves!!!
Somehow we were back where we started from - Our Den!
The kids went through their 'cranking' up procedure again
and we were on our way once more all the way through
the words "Document Done" ....and BAM!!!
We were snapped back home again with a jolt!!!
By the third time we repeated this embarrassing scenario
(We thought we were living through the movie, "Groundhog Day" ).
our nerves were beginning to frazzle and still no logical answer.
MalendA turned her head towards the back window and screamed,..
"DAAAAAD!!!
Your SuspendA is hooked on our E-mail post
and we're not getting anywhere. We've just
been spinning our wheels. We go a little
and then snap on back home again."
The man of the
'Snappy Comebacks'
has done it again!!!
Another in the long line of embarrassing situations.
Exhausted, but pleased with our trip to the 3 ring Circuits
and safely back in the den following our first long day,
GlendA and I decided to do something special to celebrate.
We looked at each other and wordlessly knew exactly what to do.
She sent the kids upstairs to put on their party clothes
while she went into the kitchen to bake a cake
and I heated up the iron to iron out the kinks in the SuspendAmobile.
GlendA called me into the kitchen and asked me to box
the half baked Creme puff cake she had baked in our half baked oven.
I boxed it for her and once again found myself flat on my back,
on the canvas, knocked out by a half baked Creme puff.
(I seem to be doomed to suffer one embarrassment after another)
GlendA dragged me back to my corner and revived me
just as the kids came back down, dressed for the party,
in their brand new Site Fights T-shirts and when GlendA and I
put on our T-shirts we were a coordinated party family.

We packed up and headed over to the Site Fights for the party.
