As my first day rapidly came to a close,
I neatly rolled up the 2nd column, inserted it into
a Pneumatic tube, took a long,deep breath and blew
the article on it's way through our inter office system to DRose.

Lifting up my trunks, which had sipped down my legs to the ground
when I expelled all the hot air needed to speed the tube on it's way,
I closed my state-of-the-art 1931 Classic Underwood typewriter,
took one last, long look around the dark office and
picked up the empty "Rocky" lunchbox ready to head home.
I blew out the flickering, wall torchlights, stepped out
of the office, marched down the hallway carefully avoiding
the 2 large Egyptian mummy cases guarding the office next door,

punched my time card with a quick left and right combination
and walked out the front door.
A warm, humid summerlike breeze greeted me as I went down
the steps of the DHome Dome building, into the hazy twilight.

I thought about the old expression
"Time Flies When You're Having a Great Time!"
Early this morning, when I first entered those doors,
it wuz a cold, blustery March day....Now after only my
first day, I'm leaving and it's a warm, July summer evening.
(I wonder if my metbolism has accelerated so much
that I'm aging faster than my body?
Will GlendA and the kids recognize me when I get home?
Has spending too much time in the dark affected my brain?
Is it colder in the winter than it is in the city????HUH?)
I'll have to ask Dr. Kronk's Site about these imponderables later.

7/6/97 "WORKING NINE TO FIVE -DAY ONE"]
Just as I reached the bottom step and wuz about to turn the corner,
a Pneumatic tube came flying down from the direction
of Dman's office and bopped me right on the old noggin.
I picked it and myself up off the ground and opened it up.
It wuz a message from Dman that wuz written in big red bold letters.
"GO WEB YOUNG MAN!
WITH MY BLESSINGS".
Signed Dman
There wuz a second page with a strange looking map on it
that had a series of highlighted blue circles placed around it.
I connected the circles, which at first looked like a route
of some kind that he wuz suggesting I follow. I looked again...
ARRRGGGHHH!!!.....
I CAN'T BELIEVE IT.....
HELP DOCTOR KRONK'S SITE!!!
IT'S HAPPENING AGAIN!....
THIS MUST BE A HORRIBLE JOKE!!!
INSTEAD OF SEEING
JOE CAMEL WHEREVER I TURN,
I KEEP SEEING DC!!!!
I NEED A CHANGE....
TO GET AWAY FROM ALL THIS!!!
TAKE THE KIDS AND GLENDA AND JUST
HOP IN THE SUSPENDAMOBILE
AND TRAVEL THE ROAD
ALA CHARLES KURAULT
VISITING THE UP AND COMING WEBSITES
OF THE SITE FIGHT CONTENDAS.
