Who's Dman - Issue 7: Even more teams, and some new traditions.

The masses were coming from everywhere. Many were all over The Site Fights. Seeing and doing all they could. But many people were having trouble finding enough to do at The Site Fights. Beleive it or not, some wanted to do more at The Site Fights than just compete.

The Chat Room was added as a result. It was a place where people could go and discuss strategy, team leaders could rally their teams to push a member of their ranks into the Dome. Anyone could hold a chat session. This caught on for a while, and is still being run by Dpapa. But still more was needed.

Sarina, leader of the Darksbane Dragons, began a Halloween Hunt. This would allow people to discover many hidden treasures to be found around the Site Fights. Along with DSpot, the hunts became a way to encourage people to visit every corner of the fights often.

During their travels people found cool places such as Dcafe, a place where they could stop and help Dchamp ski down hill. Dodging the bears that would get in Dchamp's way. They could also help Dchamp on an adventure through uncharted lands. There were many games planned, but if games weren't your cup of tea, you could just stop by and adopt a Dchamp to take home and post him up on you page. Raise the little guy to grow up and help you find your way into the Dome. The more Dchamps that got adopted, the more Dchamps that got added.

With all this fun stuff going on, many people almost missed what was going on behind the scenes, such as the new teams that were signing up. DStarla started the StarFighters in March of . The Powerful Pirates. And soon after that, Taz's Adventurers. But in all this growth, no one missed the fact that a dear team leader was going to submit her resignation. Having been in the Site Fights for over a year. Lady Char needed a break. The knights had their Last Hurrah and the team was shut down. Many hoped to see the Knights make their return, and they did under the leadership of Lord Arygh. With the new teams, the WarZone could not work under the two side format. Another Side needed to be added. Dman thought hard over what Another Side could be called. Finally it came to him, Another Side.

This covers the first three years of The Site Fights, but there is still so much to tell. Who's Dman? Who are the people behind the scenes that we really don't know that much about? Starting next week, we'll begin weekly interviews with Dfamily members. So watch out. This will help you get to know more about those who do everything at the site Fights. But of course, I'll save the best For Last. Dman will have his moment in the spotlight. But first off. It'll be...........

This of course concludes our history of The Site Fights. When this was written, DUncle got near current.... unfortunately, when I came to The Site Fights in May of 1999, this was out of date. Although DUncle is too busy to maintain this, I hope to extend this history in DSearch for DButtons, if I can :-) Until then, please enjoy DUncle's interviews with past and present members of Dfamily. -- Duncan

Next issue, DUncle interviews the original Dfairy...
