Who's Dman - Issue 6: In The Beginning... (More Teams?!?!) Dman spent some time looking over this chaotic creation. Things seemed to be working well, but he needed get ready for more people to come in. The current team leaders worried that there wouldn't be enough competitors to go around. Dman said to them, "Don't Worry... Build it and they will come". With those words, more teams were added. The couple of months that followed had most of Dfamily's head spinning. Luke needed to take the summer off for personal reasons, so Luke's FireFighters were shut down for a while. He was in for a real shock when he got back three months later. First it was DKing's Pharohs and The Cherub Champions to sign on. Next close behind was Dcap's Soaring Eagles, the Darksbane Dragons, and the Fantasy fighters. About this same time the WarZone split once again. Now it had This side, That Side, and Other Side: A three way fight into Dman Dome. Who would ever have thought. But Dman was right. The more teams that got added. The more people came to The Site Fights. Still more teams were being added. The Ringmasters, and the Defenders came in. It was around this time that Luke came back to see what had been happening. It was incredible. There were fairies everywhere, Dpatrol was browsing sites with 20 people on patrol. But the teams, where'd they all come from. The most surprising thing of all was the number of competors. Many of whom would compete again and again. Some were going at it for the fourth or fifth time. People just couldn't get enogh of it. One trip into Dflags showed that people had come in from over 70 different countries. Dpatrol had also taken on a new face. Their Training Center now offered more than ever. Graphics, banner services, even assistance with some of the graphics programs. Things were growing faster than ever. More articles were being written by other people. Dmaestro was doing his, Dcontenta with One Red Suspenda presented his weekly musings as well as ContendA ConunDrum's that would puzzle folks of all walks of life. This with the Spirit Spider's Rumble Review would compose the Three ring Circuts. A place where people could read all about the happenings at the Site Fights. As well as get their own words heard. Next issue, DUncle concludes his recount of Site Fights history (up until 1999 that is)... Click
