Who's Dman - Issue 4: Moving Day The day finally arrived: Moving day. This was to be a large co-oridated effort. The Site Fights was no longer going to be spread out all over the web. Instead, it was going to have just one home. Everyone got their login and passwords and started uploading their files. Things went as smoothly as could be expected. Once everything was in, the people started pouring in. During the move though, a couple of teams were lost. Due to personal reasons two teams chose to no longer be involved with The Site Fights: The Rodeo of Links and Steve's PrizeFighters. Things were off to a slightly rocky start with the new home, but in no time there was another who was given the offer to join Dfamily. From way down under was one of Nick's first competitors to make it into Dman Dome. After a tough loss, she was given the offer. Dwombat quickly became a cheerful new addition to Dfamily. During
the same time was the First Site Fighter of the Year tournament. This
drew a Lot of attention. Dragon Fly Dream was one of those first competitors.
All those who had won in the Dome were there, but only one could be the
champ, The Emperor's Hammer held the title when all was said and done.
Things
were changing on almost a daily basis at The Site Fights. The Spirit Spider
began to roam around and find people to nominate people for the coveted
Spirit Award. Dfairy was flittering around and getting people into the
Spirit of The Site Fights. After her loss in the SFOTY and the great amount
of Spirit she had showed, DFairy was given DRealm of Fairies. Meanwhile,
DSpirit was trying to get new things going and open the Card Shop. Of
course Dpatrol was constantly on the vigil against those who would try
to do the Site Fights wrong. With all that was going on, Dman was starting to get overwhelmed with all of his duties. Dcontenda's would have to be let go. But there was one out there who was ready and willing to help. He had competed and even put up a page to honor the Site fights for what it stood for. He asked Dman if there was anything he could do to help with what was happening. Dman turned over Dcontendas to Dkid. All Along Dman had planned to be the Biggest and the Best. Now that it was happening, it was almost a feeling of pure disbelief. The Site Fights was no longer just a place to bring your creation and compete. It was a place to come and meet new people from around the world. Make new friends and strengthen old ones. The Slogan was only a short ways off.
