A period of Rapid growth......

Almost like magic, 10's of people flocked to this new and exciting place to go on the Web. But it wasn't long before the one round was not enough. Within a couple of weeks, a second, then a third level of competition was needed. SJWeb's Site Fights now had a qualifying round, the semi-finals (the WarZone) and the final round, the Dome.

Soon Dman was swamped with people. A helper was needed. With a simple asking, Dspirit was born. Offering to help, Dspirit found a way to cheer on those competing. A daily award was given out for the person with the best cheer. Things really started to pick up at sjWeb's Site Fights. There needed to be even more levels of competition.

*Teams, That's what we need, Teams,* thought Dman. Within two months the first teams were in place. Steve's Prizefighters were the first to appear. The qualfiying round then became Dcontendas and was run by Dman. But still more teams were needed for the flood of people coming in with their sites.

Jim's ATW's were the next to appear. Nick was competing and was watching all these teams pop up. He got to the WarZone only to lose by a small margin. But showing great promise with his competing and with his Site, he's given an offer to join Dfamily. He accepted and Nick's KOA's were then formed. Yet another competitor joins: Luke. He as well showed great promise but came in second in the WarZone. Again, the hand of Dman offered Luke a chance to form a team and help Dfamily. He as well accepted, and Luke's Firefights were formed. It is important to note that all of these great teams were being run from the team leader's OWN homepage.

One day, tragedy struck. Each team was handed 20-30 NEW contestants who wanted to join into the Fun. With so many new people, each team needed to create a new structure. Soon each team had qualifying rounds, middle rounds, and a top round. The winner of the top round then moved on to the WarZone and then the Dome. The competition got even tougher with each level. With all this happening on different servers, SJWeb's Site Fights was a really tough place to get around. So to solve this, Dman set out in search of a server. Also during this time, Dspirit looked for help with spreading cheer across the land. Luckily, Dfairy comes in to offer her help.

Unfortunately, yet another tragedy strikes SJWeb's Site Fights. A site, very quietly and without notice makes it to the Dome. Many were upset by this, and as a result Dman was flooded with hate mail. There was undesireable material on the site, and children were looking at this. With all the new contestants coming in, there was no way to prevent this......or was there. Soon Dpatrol was called into action. Pre-surfing sites to ensure that this never happened -- ensuring that the competition was family safe and fun for all. With so many members of Dfamily, the need for space was becoming a bigger issue. Dman really needed to find them a home.

Next issue, SJWeb's Site Fights finds a new home and name... The Site Fights.
